The grass is a little greener in Heaven today — because on October 29, 2025, Tom Schultz of Two Rivers, WI, made his journey there, surrounded by his loving family. With his wife, daughter, and son by his side, he took his final breath and found peace. After a time of suffering, he was gently guided home by his parents, Marilyn Schultz (May 3, 2025) and Dale Schultz (May 12, 2010), to a place of comfort, laughter, and greener grass. Tom had a grumpy side, but he loved being outside in his garden, tending to his flowers and vegetables, and making sure everything looked just right. He loved his family fiercely — even if he didn’t always say it — and his humor, stubbornness, and hard work left a mark on everyone who knew him. For nearly 30 years, Tom was the town’s beloved Coke man, delivering smiles, stories, and ice-cold refreshment. Even after retiring, he stayed loyal to his favorite brand, often cracking open a few Mello Yellows to cheer on his beloved Chicago Bears — no matter how many times they tested his patience. His love for the Bears carried on in his daughter, who cheered from the time she was little — clearly brought up right. His son, who shared Tom’s stubbornness and work ethic (when he wanted to), will now follow in his dad’s footsteps to tend to the garden and keep it thriving. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Rademann) Schultz; his children, Amanda (Matt Radtke) Schultz and Steven (Ashlynn Reddemann) Schultz; and his five grandsons — Damien Jorgenson, Skyler Ecker, Jordyn Nolte, Brysin Schultz, and Braxton Schultz. He also leaves a community of friends, neighbors, and Bears fans who will forever miss his humor, generosity, and the way his gardens could brighten even the gloomiest day. We are eternally grateful to the incredible nurses and staff who cared for Tom — Pam, Tiffany O, Tiffany H, Molly, Zoey, and Nobule — and to Unity Hospice, especially Christine, for guiding us with compassion and grace through this transition. Your dedication and kindness meant the world to Tom and our family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 16th, from 1:00–4:00 PM at Cheesecake Heaven, 2075 South Oneida St, Green Bay, WI 54304. In true Tom fashion, we’ll be cheering on the Bears while celebrating the man who taught us how to grow, laugh, and love big. So raise a can of Mello Yello, pull a few weeds, plant a few flowers, and give the garden a good watering — he’ll be watching to make sure you do it right.
