Sylvia Irene (Patelski) Zoromski

Sylvia Irene (Patelski) Zoromski, 96, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in DePere, WI. Sylvia was born on December 31, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois daughter of the late Kasimir and Cecelia (Kaminski) Patelski. She grew up in Chicago and graduated from high school there. On April 29, 1950 she married the late Robert Zoromski in Chicago and together they raised two sons, Robert and Ronald. They moved to Green Bay, WI where Sylvia was a homemaker and later employed at T.Kohl’s Ltd, a high-end clothing company, as a sales lady and buyer which took her to New York City yearly to attend fashion trade shows. Sylvia enjoyed traveling where her and Bob went on various camping trips across the United States. They particularly enjoyed time in their travel trailer and being outdoors fishing. In retirement, they also enjoyed traveling to several locations across the country and the world like Alaska, Norway, Sweden, Russia, and back to see their ancestral roots in Poland. She liked gardening and was proud of the flowers found throughout her yard. Sylvia was also an avid collector of antiques including vintage doll head vases. She also enjoyed reading, watching movies, hosting family gatherings, and eating out at restaurants. Sylvia is survived by her son, Ronald (Lois) Zoromski, Lake City, MN; 6 grandchildren: Melissa (Christian) Zuidmulder, DePere, WI, Robert Zoromski, Denmark, WI, Jennifer (Isaac) Himanga, Decatur, IL, Ryan (Amanda) Zoromski, Lake City, MN, Christopher Zoromski, Rochester, MN, and Erin (Mark) Boysen, Winona, MN; 9 great-grandchildren: Ella, Aubree, Addison, and Malachi Himanga; Zara Zoromski; Otto, Ronan, and Douglas Boysen, and Seth Zoromski; 1 sister, Genevieve Gundersen, Westminister, CA as well as 2 sister in-laws, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Zoromski Sr, son Robert Zoromski, Jr, infant grandsons Jamie, Joseph, and Justin Zoromski, brothers Kasimir “Casey” Patelski, and John Patelski as well as several siblings in law. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00-10:15 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Resurrection Catholic Church 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M with Father Bob Kollath officiating. Entombment will be at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Rennes Health Facility, Oak Park Assisted Living, Unity Partners Hospice, and Sylvia’s former neighbor Sue Rohan for their loving care of Sylvia.
