Lois E. Adams

Lois E. Adams, 73, of Green Bay, passed away at home and was placed into the loving arms of her Savior on April 25, 2026, following a courageous six-year battle with Lewy body dementia. Lois was born in Merrill, WI on August 18, 1952, the 3rd child of Fred and Evelyn Siewert. She dedicated her life to caring for others, becoming a graduate of NWTC as a Licensed Practical Nurse just one week before marrying the love of her life, Lloyd A. Adams. Together, they shared 47 wonderful years of marriage, rooted in faith, love, and family. Throughout her nursing career, Lois served with both compassion and leadership. She was the Director of a small Alzheimer’s unit, where her kindness and experience brought comfort to residents and their families. Later, she worked as the hiring and training manager for Certified Nursing Assistants at a large retirement facility, mentoring caregivers with patience and grace. A born-again believer in Jesus Christ, Lois also devoted more than 35 years to serving in various children’s ministries within her church, eventually serving as Director of Children’s Ministries for many years. Her heartfelt dedication to nurturing young faith and sharing God’s love left a lasting impact on generations of children. Lois enjoyed traveling, including three visits to Disney World, three cruises, and trips to Washington, D.C. (where Lloyd was born), New York City, and the Badlands, as well as seven trips up Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs. However, her favorite place was spending time at the family cabin on Spencer Lake in Waupaca. She is survived by her beloved husband, Lloyd; her two children, Jonathan and Danielle; and her cherished grandchildren, Logan and Malachi and her special friend and lap dog, Peanut. She is further survived by her brother, Phil (Sue) Siewert, and her sister, Delight (Rick) Fleury; as well as her in-laws, Vic and Mary Adams. Lois was preceded in death by her beloved “bonus daughter,” Tami (Jonathan) Adams, who passed away one year ago after a courageous battle with cancer, and further preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Evelyn Siewert. Lois will be remembered for her deep compassion, steadfast faith, and gentle spirit that touched all who knew her. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 2nd at Green Bay First, 1460 Shawano Ave, Green Bay, with visitation from 10 am to 12 pm. Rev. Matt Miller will officiate with a service time at 12 pm. The family takes comfort in knowing that Lois is now resting peacefully and eternally in the arms of her Lord and Savior
