Linda Vanderheyden

Linda L. Vanderheyden, 67, Allouez, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital. Linda was born on May 4, 1947 in Milwaukee the daughter of the now late William and Theresa (Pawlak) Buller. She was a graduate of Green Bay West High School with the class of 1965. On October 8, 1966 she married Daniel E. Vanderheyden at St. Joseph Catholic Church and the couple enjoyed almost 43 years together. Daniel preceded her in death on May 31, 2009. Linda and Dan had three children, Troy, Shelly and Chad and as they were growing, Linda watched other children in her home for over 10 years. As her kids grew and entered school Linda started her profession as a housekeeper, cleaning homes for many years. Linda enjoyed vacationing and spending time “up north” with her family. She loved bargains and was a pro at finding deals at rummage sales. Linda adored her grandchildren and cherished the times spent with them. She had a huge heart for animals and loved her pets through the years. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, a friend to many and will be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed. Linda is survived by her children Troy (Cerry); Shelly (Raynal); Chad (Nicole); 12 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters, 2 sisters Gloria, Shirley, 1 brother Ronald (Diane), her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Janice (Cliff); Gary (Audrey), Barbara and Julie. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers-in-law Paul Dolata, Jim Vanderkelen, Ronald Vanderheyden, Douglas Larson and Robert Vanderheyden, a sister-in-law Linda A. Vanderheyden, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Ralph and Iva (Schoen) Vanderheyden. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church 2160 Packerland Drive. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. at the church with Rev. Jon Meyer officiating. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the staffs of Unity Hospice as well as the staff of St. Vincent Hospital for all of their loving care and attention shown to our mother~ your kindness will never be forgotten.
