Bauer, Julie A. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints. The good book says: in enything give thanks. It doesn’t say we need to smile while doing it. Today with deepest sorrow, the Bauer Family joyfully thanks Julie for her life of love and self sacrifice. At the same time, we thank God for releasing her from Alzheimer’s Prison. Listing her likes and accomplishments would not be in keeping with Julie’s unassuming nature, others first, was always her motto. Her delight was in small children. She could never understand why anyone would want to harm them, before or after birth. She enjoyed her teacher and secretary roles, but her highest calling was that of a wife and mother. She couldn’t help but do them well, with her philosophy of “Be happy with what you have, and haven’t got.” Julie lived 71 years. She was married to her husband Clem for 51 years. She is survived by him and children Scott, Angela and Nicholas and their families. She is also survived by her sister Jessie Raustadt and brother Robert Cheney. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Green Bay Community Church 600 Cardinal Lane. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Kim Sechler officiating. Memorials will be for the Alzheimer’s Association and N.E.W. Curative Mind Movers. Jesus said: “I am the Resurrection and the life,” and “because I live, you shall live also.” Julie we mourn your death and celebrate the life to come. Our Love for you knows no bounds, but there is no greater love than Jesus. We commend you to his Care. Finally our expression of thanks to Alpha Senior Concepts and Hospice Advantage said in a few well known lines. “I would rather see a Sermon, than hear one any day. I would rather someone walk with me, Than merely show the way. The Eye’s a ready pupil, and More willing than the ear. Good counsel’s oft confusing But examples always clear. During our 10 month stay, you have treated us with grace, kindness and compassion. We have forged many beautiful friendships in our furnace of affliction. We are eternally gratefully. May God continue to Bless your efforts and example.
