June 8, 1960 - August 10, 2016
Terri E. (Hope) Gramza, 56. Our beloved mother and friend passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2016. She was born in the city of Racine, WI on June 8, 1960, the daughter of Richard and Donna Hope. Terri enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and friends, attending church, going to AA, watching her soaps, sitting in the sun, playing cribbage, and talking on the phone, but not to gossip – even though it sounded a lot like gossip to her children and son-in-law. Those close to her are blessed to have learned many valuable lessons from her during her short stay here on earth. A few of those lessons are: Ice cream is the most important meal of the day. There is nothing wrong with drinking six diet cokes and a pot of coffee a day. What is said in these walls stays in these walls. Forgive and forget. Kill negative people with kindness. If you find a quarter call someone that cares about you. If someone asks you how you are doing, do not respond with fine, because fine is f’ed up. The best motorcycles are Harleys. If a pair of ones is rolled when playing dice, yell out snake eyes. Never leave the house without putting on clean underwear in case you get into a car accident. Always send birthday cards so people know you care. And a favorite, swaddle and hold babies as often as possible. Those who have taken her lessons to heart will continue to ensure that every baby is kissed and taught the Jesus loves me song. She loved to share photos of her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, especially with prospective friends in the checkout line. Above all Terri loved to hear from loved ones and friends. She saved every single letter and card she received from them; seriously, we have them all and have read them. You may read this and smile because you recall a letter from her that touched your heart, tickled your funny bone, or maybe even made you say “huh?” A last minute message from Terri – Tomorrow is never promised, so today I want all my friends and family to know how THANKFUL I am that ALL OF YOU were in my life. God Bless Everyone. Terri’s spirit is carried on by her children Kristina (Nicholas) Stadler, Orlon Miller, Steven Gramza, and Tyler Hope; her grandchildren, Adan, Ryleigh, Beau, Farrah, Alivia, Alaina, and Nicholas; her step-mother Delores Killips, her sister Leslie Hope; her brother Todd (Jessica) Hope; her brother Rick Hope; her nieces and nephews, Philip, Sam, Ricky, Lexi, Katelyn, Kaylee, Dylan, Megan, Ashley and Kelsee; and an extended amount of other relatives and friends from every walk of life. They are too numerous to list, but not forgotten. Terri is reunited in death by her parents, Richard and Donna Hope; her sister, Theresa; brothers Timothy and Ted, her grandparents, Harvey and Angeline Hope and Donald and Gladyce Race Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Crossroads Community Church 520 S. Oakland Avenue, Green Bay. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Committal Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine.
