Nicole "Nikki" (Meyer) VanderHeyden

March 29, 1985 - May 21, 2016

Nicole “Nikki” D. (Meyer) VanderHeyden, 31, Green Bay, died tragically on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Nikki was born on March 29, 1985 in Manitowoc the daughter of Steve and Vicki (Junk) Meyer. She was a graduate of Denmark High School with the class of 2003. Nikki furthered her education at U.W.G.B. with a B.S. Degree with a double major of Science and Education graduating in 2010. She dedicated 6 years as a substitute teacher for the Green Bay Area Public School System. Nikki was a Mom first and was devoted to her children and always gave selflessly to make sure they were protected and cared for. She was a natural person who loved the outdoors and fitness~ she had an organic and holistic approach to her life. Nikki found peace and joy in the simple things in life that most would take for granted such as hiking, nature walks or even going to the zoo. She had a zest for life and a great spiritual energy living life to the fullest each and every day. Nikki cared deeply for those she loved and family was #1 in her life always! She was a loving and caring soul who always had a beautiful smile to those she met along this journey called life~ she will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed. Nikki is survived by her three little angels Mikayla, Tyler and Dylan, her loving family mother and father Vicki and Steve Meyer, one sister Heather Meyer, 2 brothers Brent Meyer and Brandon Meyer, one nephew Landon, her paternal grandmother Gayle (Dave) Picard, special aunts and uncles Randy (Eilleen) Junk, Lynn (Steve) Krupka, David Meyer, Mark Meyer, Teri (Jeff) Ebersol. She is further survived by the entire VanderHeyden Family and many other relatives family and so many friends. Nikki was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ervin and Annette Junk, her paternal grandfather Michael Meyer. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Celebration Church 3475 Humboldt Road. A Funeral and Celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 P.M. The family would like to offer a warm and heartfelt thank you for all the outreach from the entire community for the love and support for our “Beautiful” Nicole during this time of tragedy~ your love and kindness will never be forgotten.
