Meredith “Mitzi’ J. Babler, 93, Green Bay, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family to join her husband in Heaven on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Mitzi was born on October 13, 1925, in Peshtigo, the daughter of the now late Clifford and Emma (Heinritz) Hansford. She was a graduate of Green Bay West High School with the class of 1943. On June 15, 1945 she married Vincent Babler and the couple celebrated 53 years together. Vincent preceded her in death on December 27, 2001. Mitzi is survived by her children Judy (Dan) Landwehr, Jeff (Laura) Babler, 2 grandchildren Jessica (Shayne) Schoen-Turner, Vincent Babler, 2 great-grandchildren Grey and Neve Turner, one brother-in-law Don Neuman. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her one sister Lois Neuman, 3 sisters-in-law and 4 brothers-in-law Gen (Burl) Nielson, Dorothy (Cletus) Weber, Eva (Gilbert) Danz and Connie Babler. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 9th Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the entire staff at Tender Hearts for all of their wonderful care and devotion shown to Mom. Also, a special thank-you to Heartland Hospice for the loving care and compassion~ your kindness will never be forgotten.
