She loved traveling with Ed and together they have visited all 50 States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, the Caribbean and many other places~ they always made wonderful memories. Marilee was musically gifted and enjoyed playing the piano and singing with Ed but she mostly loved to listen to his voice- they made quite the duet. She was a patient person and was always up for a challenging picture puzzle and doing crossword puzzles. Marilee cherished her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, a friend to many and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed. Marilee is survived by her husband: Ed, her children: Nathan (Susan) Jensen, Erlanger, KY; Matthew Jensen, Venice Beach, CA; Abigail (Thomas) Dodge, Sierra Vista, AZ; 5 grandchildren: Gabriel, Avery, Ethan, Caitlyn and Emily, 2 sisters: Marlene (James) DeWar, Marvel Johnson, 6 brothers: Stuart (Sherry) Newlin, Kevin (Sherry) Newlin, Jay (Tracy) Newlin, Marlin Newlin, Robin (Jenny) Newlin, Jeremy (Angela) Newlin, 1 brother-in-law: Harry (Audrey) Jensen. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Schmechel officiating. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established in her name.
