Linda Lou Gibot

December 9, 1946 - December 26, 2008

Linda L. Gibot (Williquette) 62, Green Bay passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2008 at Bellin memorial Hospital. Linda was born on December 9, 1946 in Green Bay the daughter of the late Alwen and Elizabeth (Hockstock) Williquette. Linda was a wonderful gardener and had a green thumb when it came to growing flowers and vegetables, and always enjoyed being outdoors. She enjoyed reading and greatly loved spending time with her family and friends as well as shopping with Rae Ann. Linda liked Christmas time and the opportunity to look at all the splendid decorations and lights. Linda is survived by her children Nick (Sarah) Pouwels, Rae Ann Pouwels, 5 grandchildren Madison, Corey, Cullyen, Christopher & Kaylee, three sisters and three brothers-in-law Beverly (Jim) Spoerl, Nancy (Don) Pfotenhauer, Marilyn (Roger) Detry, one brother and sister-in-law Richard (Patricia) Williquette. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters Suzanne Patterson, Elaine Steinfield, one brother Wayne Williquette. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church 1224 12th Avenue. Funeral Service 11:00 A.M. at the church with Rev. Donald Everts officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her name. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to Dr. David Kaufman and his staff for all of the loving care shown to Linda. Also, a special thank-you to the staffs of the 2nd floor Advanced Care Unit and the 4th floor Medical Care Unit of Bellin Memorial Hospital for all of their compassion.
