Kent Haluska Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kent Edward Haluska rushed into this world April 22nd, 1982 and left just as quickly March 24th, 2014. He was almost 32. As a baby, Kent embraced the light of morning, always ready to greet the day with excitement and a smile. Growing up in East De Pere, he found escape in water swimming or fishing. As he grew into a man, he found peace in the woods, but was also entranced and excited by the thrill of the hunt. Kent was preceded in death by his grandfather Frank Canaday, grandparents John and Ernestine Haluska, Uncle Paul and Aunt Chris Canaday, his beloved ferret MacGyver and most recently his father, Paul Haluska. Kent loved and was loved by his dogs (aka “kids”) Lady and Drake, his grandmother Grace Canaday, mother Sandra Haluska (Lorren Schrenk), sister Heather Haluska, brother Steven Haluska, brother and sister-in-laws Nathaniel Reindl and Trisha Haluska, nephew Talen Haluska, nieces MacKenzi Meyer, Jaylen Haluska and Caitlyn Vandenbush, his Auntie Donna Haluska, Uncle Tim Canaday, Aunt Michelle “Mitzi” Mahlik , cousins Edward “Fred” Short, Adam “Clyde” Short, Patrick “The Incredible Elf” Short, Juanita (Short) Firkus, Valarie Canaday, Amber (Kincaid) Mayer, Joshua Mahlik, Ross Kincaid, and Isabella Mahlik, their loving spouses and “significant others”, as well many other family friends and relation throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan . “Dear Lord, Please give your blessing to our family. We want to give love and support to each other. Send your Holy Spirit into our hearts. Help us listen to one another, and honestly share our feelings and always reverence you as the source of the unity.” Amen Kent 3/20/14 Please come celebrate Kent’s life and birthday with the family Tues April 22nd, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home 1644 Lime Kiln Rd Green Bay from 6p - 8p. There will also be a small service in Argonne, WI at the family home during the 4th of July. The family would like to extend their whole hearted appreciation to Hansen Funeral Services of Green Bay for all of their help, love and support, throughout this time.
