September 7, 1958 - April 20, 2022
Our Mom, Jan (Janice) Ann Marie Cleven (St. Germaine) age 63 passed away with family at bed side after almost 2 years of additional time granted despite her cancer diagnosis and other health complications on April 20, 2022. Mom was a 1976 graduate of West High School Green Bay. While in middle and high school Jan was known to be very artistic and she often was known to do many drawings for school bulletins and newsletters. Even growing up she was always creating something and using her artistic ability to make things. Over Mom’s working career she worked many different jobs all utilizing her known talents of art and math. Some of those included accounting after some education at NWTC and then some wall printing and stenciling . Her over meticulous nature carried over to house and office cleaning. She worked in waitressing and cooking and ended her working career with some additional education at NWTC to work a lath machine before becoming medically disabled. Mom’s pastimes and other talents were her floral gardens and floral pots, making her home look like those seen in magazines, magazine/book reading and thrift shopping to decorate and add character to our home. She took pride in her work and creations. Her artistic ability was seen by her willingness to help with parties, decorations and milestone celebrations. She loved to be outside and enjoyed nature. During her more youthful and healthy years she loved fishing, country music concerts, Door County trips, grill outs, going up north and camping. Mom is survived by her three children , 2 son in laws, and a daughter in law. Heather (Mark) Delveaux, Heidi (Bart) Baeb, and Matthew (Stephanie) Schneider. She also has 8 grandchildren she held dear to her heart, Anna Baeb, McKayla Baeb, Brayden Delveaux, Preston Delveaux, Shayne Delveaux, Isabelle Schneider, Cordelia Baeb and Ivy Schneider. She was preceded in death by her brother Gary Cleven, half brother Gordon St. Germaine and close Grandparents Joe and Annie Pamperin who she had spoke of fondly. As Mom traveled her journey closer to God she was still able to shed a tear, be her stubborn self and smile while doing so and still tell us she loved us. She made us promise to not leave her side as her anxiety and fear took over. Our family will hold a burial in spring to lay her ashes to rest. We would like to thank some Aurora nursing staff (in particular Bree and Stacy), Dr. Gautum for not giving up on Mom and giving us 2 additional years with her and Aurora Hospice for their support as we navigated this difficult and emotional road in such a short time. Also to Pastor Joshua Errer , Vicar Anthony Keilani , Deaconess Deidre Batiansila and Aurora Hospice Pastor Dave Hatch all in helping us prepare for a road we’ve never traveled. Mom, we look forward to seeing what you’ve done by adding your artistic flair when we see you again. Don’t have too many bon fires up there.
