Mrs. Heather Besaw

June 24, 1941 - November 21, 2015

Heather Besaw, 74 passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Angels Touch Assisted Living in De Pere. Heather was born on June 24, 1941 in Green Bay the daughter of the now late Donald and Dorothy (Toule) Fairbairn. She was a graduate of Green Bay East High School with the class of 1960. On April 27, 1963 she married Ken Besaw at Saint Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Heather loved her family and always cherished the times together and never turned down an opportunity to spend quality time with her children and 4 grandchildren. She liked to travel with Ken and good friends to warm destinations. Heather enjoyed weekends at their cabin relaxing and reading a good book. She was active in volunteering with Love Life Ministries for many years. Heather always enjoyed good dinner out and great times with friends whether it be celebrating New Years at Rene’s Dining Room in Crivitz or hosting a Packer Party. She was never without a dog and it gives us much comfort knowing that she will be greeted by her furry friends that she loved so much throughout the years. Heather is survived by her loving husband Ken, one son and daughter-in-law Jeff (Annette) Besaw, one daughter Karie Besaw and her significant other Mark Anderson, 4 grandchildren Miranda, Haley, Ian and Zackery, one brother and two sisters-in-law Bill (Lea) Fairbairn, Charlotte Fairbairn. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death one brother Bruce Fairbairn. A Celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Swan Club 875 Heritage Road. A Time of Reflection will be held 5:00 P.M. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a Memorial Fund has been established in her name. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the caring staff of Angels Touch for all of their care and compassion. .
