Dorothy G. Crevcoure, 91, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital. Dorothy was born on August 18, 1926 in Green Bay, the daughter of the late Dr. George and Jane (McCole) Goggins. She was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. On October 8, 1949 Dorothy married Rodney Crevcoure at the Cathedral in Green Bay. The couple enjoyed over 63 years together. Rodney preceded her in death on March 27, 2013. In addition to being a full time mom, Dorothy worked as a secretary for the Diocese of Green Bay until her retirement. Dorothy had servant’s heart and freely gave of her time as a volunteer at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church for many years. Among some of Dorothy’s interests were playing cards, especially Bridge and she was an avid reader and always enjoyed a good book. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and a friend to many. She will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed. Dorothy is survived by her 7 children: Susan (Joseph) Wolters, Venice, FL; Mary Jorgensen, Madison, WI; Steve (Lynn) Crevcoure, Grafton, WI; Anne (William) Tucker, Moneta, VA; Jean (Scott) Tweedale, De Pere, WI; Renee Crevcoure, De Pere, WI; and Paul Crevcoure, Green Bay, WI; and close family friend Julie Juedes, 10 grandchildren: Matt Wolters and Jenny Wolters; Kate Jorgensen (Randy) , Sam (Sara) Jorgensen, and Lee (Krissy) Jorgensen; Nick (Brooke) Crevcoure, David Crevcoure, Kevin (Cassidy) Crevcoure, Holly Tweedale and Max Tweedale, 7 great-grandchildren: Jordan Wolters, Amelia, Nora and Julia Jorgensen, McKenna Hoopingarner-Tweedale, Kai Jorgensen-Jones and Olin Jorgensen and a sister-in-law, Sister Joan Crevcoure of the Maryknoll Order. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 5 brothers-in-law. Gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 9 A.M. until time of mass at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Drive. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 A.M. at the church with Fr. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations may be made to Aspiro 1673 Dousman Street Green Bay, WI 54303 ~or~ the Meals on Wheels Program through the ADRC Center 300 S. Adams Street Green Bay, WI 54301, as these organizations were dear to Dorothy’s heart. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the staffs of the ER, ICU and 9th Floor Comfort Care of Saint Vincent Hospital for all of the wonderful care, compassion and love shown to Dorothy ~ your kindness will always be remembered.
