June 16, 1930 - September 26, 2019
Your Mother Is Always With You. She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street, she’s the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not feeling well, she’s your breath in the air on a cold winter’s day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow, she is Christmas morning. Your mother lives inside your laughter. She’s the place you came from, your first home, and she’s the map you follow with every step you take. She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on Earth can separate you. Not time, not space…not even death. Dolores E. Chervenka, 89, Green Bay, formerly a longtime resident of Denmark, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Dolores was born on June 16, 1930 in Pilsen, the daughter of the now late Frank and Clara (Meyer) Kadletz. She met the love of her life Daniel “Dan” Chervenka at a dance at Nejedlo’s. Dolores had many interests in life but her greatest treasure was her family~ She loved to spend time with them and was always delighted to share her cooking talents with them and if they left hungry; that was their own fault. She greatly enjoyed growing vegetables along with planting her flowers and had a pretty green thumb. Dolores was a faithful servant and instilled these values into her family who followed her example. She was very hardworking and rarely sat down as she was a caretaker by nature and made sure others were taken care of before herself. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a friend to many and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed. She is survived by her children: Sharon (Donald) Denor, Karl (Debra) Chervenka, Debra (Jeff) Umentum, 6 grandchildren: Corey ( Shannon) Denor, Brian (Jill) Denor, Alyssa Denor, Carrie (Spencer) Schuh, Carissa (Chad) Aumueller, Taylor Umentum, 4 great-grandchildren: Jacob and Kiera Denor, Parker Schuh and Bennett Aumueller, 2 sisters, 1 brother and 3 brothers-in-law: Allen (Jane) Kadletz, Germaine (Luke) Linzmeier, Joyce Beaudoin and Jerome Chervenka. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joseph Sr. and Dorothy (Paider) Chervenka, 3 brothers-in-law and 5 sisters-in-law :Joseph (Magdaline), Alvin (Loretta), George, Delores, Mary and an infant sister-in-law . Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, N2085 County Road AB, Stangelville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Rev. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the staff at Bishops Court for all of their kind and loving ways in taking care of Dolores over the past 6 years~ your kindness will never be forgotten.
