Connie Kriescher

October 7, 1954 - March 3, 2010

Connie J. Kriescher, 55, Green Bay passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital. Connie was born on October 7, 1954 in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Jules and Betty (Kutz) Wagner. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy with the class of 1972. Connie furthered her education at UW-Green Bay with a B.S. Degree in Human Development. On May 15, 1982 she married Daniel Kriescher at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She taught Pre/K in the Two Rivers School district for several years before leaving to stay home and raise her two wonderful boys, Benjamin and Jonathan. Later when the kids had grown, she went back to work at Sav-Half Greeting Cards for many years. Connie was an extremely faith-filled Christian who always placed her trust in the Lord. She enjoyed spending time at the Cup O’ Joy Coffee House and going on retreats to refresh her soul. Connie was very devoted to her family and always placed their needs ahead of her own so when she laid her head on her pillow at night she knew that they were taken care of. She had a fun personality as well as a great sense of humor and liked to cross-stitch and play cards, especially cribbage and canasta. Connie was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed. Connie is survived by her loving husband Daniel, her two sons Benjamin and Jonathan, one brother Steven (wife, Jean) Wagner, sister-in-law Sandy (husband, Jim) Jacques, brother-in-law Gary Kriescher, and brother-in-law Keith (wife, Cathi) Kriescher. She is further survived by special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Monday, March 8, 2010 at St. Bernard Catholic Church 2040 Hillside Lane. Mass of Christian Burial 6:00 P.M. at the church with Rev. David Pleier officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hansenfuneralservice.com. In Lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been established in Connie’s name. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Unity Hospice for all of their loving support. Also, a warm note of appreciation to the many dear friends of the Cancer Support Group and Pastoral Staff at St. Vincent Hospital for all of their prayers and encouragement.
