The youngest child of nine children, Cara was also a loving wife, adoring mother, wonderful daughter, beautiful sister, influential aunt, great aunt, niece and great niece, and a good friend to many. On August 25, 2007, she married Teddy Klemm, and together, they became one. They were blessed with three strapping young boys who have their mothers’ spirit in them. Cara enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of having her in their lives. Cara took pride in homeschooling her sons with a faith-based curriculum where she was honored to teach them all about God’s promises and His love for all, which has shined through in each of her sons these last few days and no doubt, will help them the rest of their lives. Cara was very strong in her conviction of faith and teaching her faith and beliefs to her boys. She loved attending church services at Celebration Church, led by Pastor Mark Gunger, an international speaker on marriage and family. In addition, Cara had many hobbies that included collecting angels, Princess Diana collectibles, listening to country music with her favorite singer being George Strait and the Back Street Boys, winning prizes from Duke FM, camping and bonfires, garage sales, road trips, go-carting and four-wheeling, walks in the park and in the woods, fishing, and loved Winnie-the-Pooh. Cara is survived by her loving husband; Teddy Klemm, three handsome sons; Wyatt, Wesley, and Wiley. She is further survived by her mother; Carol (Born) Sheffer, siblings; Cynthia Sheffer, Sandra Sheffer, Jeffrey Sheffer, Pamela Sheffer, Abigail (Bob) Jones, and Joshua Sheffer, nieces and nephews; Tanya (Aaron) McKenna, Hadassah (Ryan) Furniss, Michaelia Meyer, William Meyer, Kristopher (Corie) Gonion, Sara Gonion, Zachary Gonion, Chelsea (Bryan) Schnell, Kendra Mraz, Kathryne, Madalyne, and Mason Jones, great nieces and nephews; Samantha, Cole, Darren, Brayden, Taylor, Levi, and Rylee McKenna, Azariah, Abree, and Aylah Furniss, Jaymasen Dietrich, Phillip and Parker Gonion, Lillian Pleischek, godson; Daniel Bauer, special Uncle Allen Born, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cara was preceded in death by her father; Everett Sheffer Sr., siblings; Everett Sheffer Jr. and Sarah Sheffer, Baby Wynter Klemm, grandparents; William and Lena Sheffer and Earl and Iola Born, cousin Debbie Sheffer, Baby Mraz, aunts and uncles. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Celebration Church 3475 Humboldt Road. A Celebration of Cara’s Life will be held at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Gungor and Pastor Lathan Duncan officiating. On behalf of Cara’s family, we would like to thank all of the police officers, first responders, emergency medical technicians, and whomever else assisted at the scene of the accident. Thank you to those who took our three miracles to St. Vincent. Thank you those caregivers in the Emergency Department who cared for Wyatt, Wesley, and Wiley and for the compassion shown to our family. By the grace of God, three lives were spared. Cara’s spirit will live on through her three boys, and we are so grateful for the time we were able to have Cara in our lives. Cara chose to be a tissue donor to assist others in need. Let her decision influence you in making this selfless gift to others in need. Do your part and visit the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website.
