Bernie is remembered by his family, friends, and acquaintances as a wonderful, giving person, always ready to lend a hand or add a laugh. He did this in a quiet, respectful manner that defined his life as a devoted father, husband, and Christian. Bernie said, “Ice cream is the secret to my long life.” Gathering of family of friends will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew Catholic Church 130 St. Matthew Street.
