Becky M. Hoelter

July 28, 1972 - June 17, 2022

Rebecca “Becky” M. Hoelter, 49, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, and is now at peace and free of all medical challenges. Becky was born on August 28, 1972, the daughter of Gene and Diana (Schardan) Hoelter and grew up in Spooner, Wisconsin. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage near Gordon, Wisconsin and loved swimming, sledding and snowmobiling with her brother Brad. Becky especially enjoyed listening to the sounds of whippoorwills at night. She always cared about children and found great joy in participating in the YMCA’s child care program. Through the encouragement she received there, she became a certified child care agent and was employed at the downtown location. Prior to becoming an employee she had previously volunteered for many years and was named volunteer of the year. Becky took great care and pride in her work there. All of her adult life Becky was a part of National Alliance of Mentally Ill (NAMI) of Brown County and gladly attended the meetings to help others. She also volunteered countless hours at the Gathering Place where she was surrounded by other NAMI peers. Becky was a dedicated Brewers and Packers fan and loved watching the games. It was best not to disturb her while the games were on. Her smile will be missed, her humor will never be forgotten and the love in her heart will forever remain on the hearts and minds of those who knew her. Becky is survived by her loving parents: Gene and Diana Hoelter, one Brother and Sister-In-Law: Brad and Mary Hoelter, a Niece who was also her Goddaughter: Grace, a Nephew: Jack. She is further survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other relatives and friends. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Prince Catholic Community, 3425 Willow Road. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dennis Ryan Officiating. To join the funeral service on-line, please go to POPGB54311 on Facebook. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations may be made to NAMI of Brown County, 1234 Main Street #1, Green Bay, WI 54302 The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the Brown County Community Treatment Center Staff for all of their wonderful care and devotion shown to Becky~ your kindness will never be forgotten.
