Arletta R. Laundre, 85, died peacefully Monday, August 6, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 2, 1933, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Alvin and Agnes (Rentmeester) Pigeon. Arletta graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy where she won many awards for the poems she composed in high school. Arletta enjoyed singing in the choir at St. John’s Parish in Little Chute, spending weekends at the cabin, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and many hours gardening and canning produce. She and her husband Richard had a part time business refinishing furniture and kitchen cabinets. Arletta is survived by her husband Richard, Green Bay; sisters: LuWilla Pillar, Urbana, IL; Mary (Ed) Holschuh, Green Bay; Annie Emmel, Crivitz; children: Francine Borlee, Virginia City, NV; Josepha Borlee, Little Chute; Maria Nason, Oshkosh; Mike (Sue) Borlee, Green Bay; Rachelle (Kevin) Anderson, Luxemburg; Andrea (Dave) Kramer, Neenah; David (Joann) Borlee, Oshkosh; Denise (Mike) Willems, Green Bay; grandchildren: Jenny Nason (partner Dean Malloy), Anna (Nick) Roth, Claudia (Dan) Schmidt, Jonathan (Kathleen) Borlee, Thor Anderson, Ben (Kyra) Anderson, Skip (Amy) Anderson, Max Kramer, Audrey Kramer (Fiancé Michael Lanning), Timothy Borlee, Nathan Borlee, Lindsey (Ryan) Christensen; great-grandchildren: Rhonan MacInerney-Nason, Corey Nason, Emily Nason, Harvey Schmidt, and Dane Christensen. Upon her marriage to Richard, Arletta lovingly extended her role as mother to an additional ten step children: Robert Landry, Two Rivers; Mary Laundre, Green Bay; Larry (Tammy) Laundre, New Franken; John Laundre, Green Bay; Amy (Hudson) Lane, Suamico; Chuck Laundre, Suring; Tom (Tricia) Laundre, Appleton; Theresa Stahl, Lisa Ver Haagh, both of Green Bay; step grand- and great-grandchildren. Arletta is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Fred Borlee, infant daughter Joanna Borlee, brothers-in-law Jim Pillar and Gus Emmel, son-in-law Rick Nason, step son Bill Laundre, and step grandson Nick Ver Haagh. Visitation at 9:00am, funeral mass at 11:00am, Monday, August 13, at Resurrection Parish, 333 Hilltop Drive, Green Bay. Arletta’s family would like to thank Matt, Kaitlin, and their nursing team at Alpha Concepts for all their care and compassion. Arletta will be forever loved for her joyful spirit and loving heart.
