Mr. Steve 'Steven" A. Carlson

Steven “Steve” A. Carlson, 72, Green Bay passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Steve was born on April 24, 1952 in Green Bay the son of the now late Arthur and Ruth (Christensen) Carlson. Steve was a graduate of Green Bay East High School with the class of 1970. He then obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Norbert College, completed his masters degree from the University of Cincinnati, Conservatory of Music and went on to work on his doctorate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Steve taught at Southern Door High School, De Pere East High School and Mannheim Middle School in Illinois. He was recently named the volunteer of the Month for GBAPS in November, volunteering at Webster Elementary School. The love for the stage and theater and music was his life. Steve is survived by two sisters: Debra (Charles) Faison and Connie (Jon) Burggren. He is further survived by nieces and nephew, Danielle Faison, Keegan (Amy) Burggren, Lydia (Lucas Meier) Faison and Britta (Michael) Graham, other relatives and friends. In accordance with Steve’s wishes a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
