Russel Servais

Russel F. Servais, 80, Green Bay passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008 At the Jack and Ingrid Meng Residence on the Unity Hospice Campus in De Pere. Russel was born on October 15, 1927 in Green Bay the son of the late Frank and Alice Servais. Russ was a graduate of Green Bay West High School with the class of 1945. Russ served his country in the United States Army from 1945 until his honorable discharge in 1947. Upon his return to civilian life, Russ pursued his education at Saint Norbert College graduating in 1951. Russ worked as an accountant at various companies in the Green Bay area retiring from Saint Vincent Hospital. Russ loved spending time with his entire family and friends. Russ is survived by his children Russ and Chris Servais, Chaska, MN; Steve and Chris Servais, Green Bay; Jennifer and Bob LaCombe, Bend, Oregon; 6 grandchildren; Joshua Servais, Jacob Servais, Jordan Servais, Steve and Stephanie Servais, Andrew Servais, Aaron Servais, Jane and Nick Shein, Ellen LaCombe, Bobbi LaCombe, and 1 great-grandchild Lauren Shein, a brother Howard and Jean Servais Westminster CA, 2 nephews and 2 nieces; his step children; Tom and Mary Jo Zeise, David and Connie Zeise, Daniel and Theresa Zeise, Allen and Cyndi Zeise, Matt and Mary Grace Zeise, grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Marvel Buell. He was preceded in death by his first wife Jane in 1975, his second wife Carol in 2004, his parents Frank and Alice Servais and his brother James Servais. Gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in the Chapel of the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum 2770 Bay Settlement Road. Funeral Service 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Walter Stumpf of St. Philip Catholic Church officiating. Entombment in the Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to the: American Diabetes Association. Milwaukee WI office 2323 N.
