Mrs. Rosemary Kispert

We are sad to announce the passing of Rosemary Kispert, 81, on Thursday, June 6th, 2024. She was born to the late Lloyd and Mary Kispert on July 20th, 1942 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Rosy, as she was called by her friends, graduated from Green Bay East High School and entered into a nursing career. She attended to patients at Saint Vincent Hospital and Jefferson Manor. Rosy eventually took a break from nursing to raise her two sons, Michael and Joseph. Looking after her sons was always her first priority. She supported her boys by serving as a Den Mother for their scouting troop, cheering on their sporting endeavors and volunteering at their school in a variety of capacities throughout the years. Rosy loved the outdoors and introduced her boys to camping and snowmobiling across the state. Rosy was the consummate hostess and always eager to make others feel appreciated. She could always be counted upon to be the best entertainer of any campground they visited. All were welcome. Tonka pies and smores were never in short supply! Rosy loved people and her zest for life was infectious. She surprised no one when she took up darts and joined a tavern dart league. Even competitors brightened when she showed up. After having raised her boys, Rosy and her brother Tom spent many years traveling the world together. She particularly enjoyed their trips to Europe and Alaska. Rosy was fast to make friends wherever she went and made numerous friends during their many tours. Rosemary is survived by her son, Michael and her brother, Tom. Rosemary is survived by nieces, a nephew, and many friends. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jim, and her son Joseph. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. on Friday, June 14, 2024 at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams Street. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Andrew Cribben O.Praem officiating. The family would like to thank so many people from the Green Bay medical and therapy community: to include Doctor Edward Bongiorno, Doctor Raymond Bachhuber and their staff, Bellin Home Health, the CP Therapy Services, Rennes Health and Rehab Center, and Unity Hospice.
