Mr. James W. Redemann

James W. Redemann, 75, Allouez, Wi, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital. James was born the son of the late Hilmar and Marie (Cain) Redemann on February 23, 1937 in Ripon, Wi. James graduated from Ripon High School in 1955. He earned his B.S. Degree from Wi. State University-Oshkosh in 1959 and received his Master’s Degree from Stout State University in 1970. James spent his entire life in his chosen career as an educator. He started teaching Art at Crivitz and Pembine in 1959. From 1962 to 1969 he taught Art at Berlin. In 1969 he accepted the position of Audio Visual at Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Il. In 1972 he returned to Wisconsin and accepted an A-V assignment at East High School. In 1979 he returned to the classroom to teach Art at Preble High School until he retired in 1994. On June 24, 1978 he married Janice Mae (McDonald) at Bethany Methodist Church. James is a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. James will be sadly missed by his loving wife Janice, one daughter Simone Kamenski, three step-children Jeffery (Maribeth) Achterberg, Jennifer (Brian) Zenker, Robin (K8 Prange) McFadzen and three Grand Children, John Achterberg, Ava Pleus and Farah Mandich. He is survived by two siblings Theresa Ferch, Ripon, David (Donna) Redemann, Tacoma, WA; two sisters-in-law Ruth (Heckler), Winnetka, Il, Betty Redemann, Oshkosh. In addition he was preceded in death by two brothers William Redemann, Winnetka Il, Robert Redemann, Oshkosh; three sisters Betty (Kurcz), Elk Grove, Il, Bernadette (Splitt), Ripon, Delores (Marquart), Albuquerque, NM; four brothers-in-law Leo Kurcz, Roger Splitt, Harold Ferch, Lloyd Marquart; and one sister-in-law Mary Ann (Marks). Jim served in the Wisconsin National Guard and was called to active duty during the Berlin Crisis in 1961. At Fort Lewis he was promoted to Sgt. E5. Jim enjoyed his chosen Profession and all the talented students he had in the classroom. His real love was to create works of Art, develop new ideas (holds a U.S. Patent) and dance the night away. James has requested there be no visitation and burial will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
