SPC Dillon Reece Arcand-Dubois

Dillon Reece Arcand-Du Bois, 20, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 2, 2024. Dillon was born on November 12, 2003 in Green Bay to Christy Arcand and Matthew Du Bois. Dillon graduated with Honors from East High School with the Class of 2022. After graduation he joined the United States Army and was still currently protecting our Nation when he passed. He obtained the rank of an E4 specialist. Dillon was very athletic and enjoyed playing football, wrestling, running track along with rock climbing. He loved all kinds of music and played the clarinet in high school and was a member of their band and orchestra. Dillon had an adventurous and giving spirit, living life to its fullest and never missed a chance to be there for others. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, a friend to many and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed. Dillon is survived by his mother: Christy (Cameron Isaacson) Arcand, his father and step-mother: Matthew (Dawn) Du Bois, 5 sisters: Mikayla Hoskins, Carli Hoskins, Ariana Du Bois, Brielle Du Bois, Sariah Dubois, 2 brothers: Matthew Du Bois, Jr., Samuel Edges, his maternal grandmother: Annette (Jimmy Presti) Arcand, his maternal grandfather: Duane (Vera) Arcand, his maternal grandmother: Patricia (Thomas) Hansen, his paternal grandmother: Lisa (Renny Chorney) Du Bois, his paternal grandfather: Jon Du Bois and his special friend: Christine Joly, his step-grandmother: Judi Malinski and her special friend: Shane Jauquet, his maternal great-grandmother: Kathleen Bruening, his paternal great-grandmother: Rosemary Du Bois, his aunts: Sarah Steffens, Ashley Joly and Amanda Rippl, his uncle: Justin (Jessica Henry) Du Bois. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather: Theodore Bruening and his paternal great-grandfather: Joseph Du Bois, his paternal great-grandparents: Victor and Virginia Chizek. Gathering of family and friends will be held 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Celebration Church, 3475 Humboldt Road. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Ben Cline officiating. Immediately following the service and in recognition of his dedication to his Country, Military Honors will be held at Nicolet Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest. The family would like to offer special thank-you to Lisa Copus for all of her loving care and support over the past week and to Melissa Arcand for being such a great Aunt. Also, a warm note of appreciation to Lori Smith for being a rock to lean on and your unconditional love. Lastly a heartfelt thank-you to Amanda and Matthew Williams for reaching out and being the loving couple you are.
