Mr. Conrad R. Servi

Conrad “Con” Servi, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2024 at home with his family by his side. Born in Antigo, Wisconsin in 1928, he spent his early years on his father's farm, surrounded by the love of his parents, Charles and Clara (Fleischman) Servi, and his 6 brothers and sisters. Con's journey took him from the heart of Wisconsin to Los Angeles, where he established an auto repair shop before being called to serve his country in the Korean War. As a combat veteran, Con's dedication to his Country resulted in him being injured. After recovery, he continued to serve and was later honorably discharged as a sergeant. After his separation from the Army, Con returned to Antigo, Wisconsin, where he met the love of his life, Shirley McMillion. They settled in Green Bay, where they built a life filled with love and shared adventures. Con worked as a truck driver, was a skilled mechanic and later accepted a position as the highway commissioner for Brown County until his retirement. Con and Shirley were blessed with two children, Charles and Pegi. Con and Shirley celebrated 45 years of marriage until she preceded him in death in May of 2001. During her illness Con was a devoted husband and faithfully took care of her. Although, Shirley passed away to young, Con found solace in his retired years by indulging in his passion for travel. He explored new horizons with his brother and embraced the thrill of ATVing in the picturesque landscapes of northern Wisconsin. An avid outdoorsman and hunter, Con found joy and peace in nature, passing on his love for the wilderness to his children and grandchildren. Con's stoic demeanor and unwavering happiness left an indelible mark on the lives of those around him. Whether bringing laughter to family gatherings or sharing stories of his experiences, Con's presence illuminated the lives of his children and grandchildren. Conrad will be remembered for his resilience, his love for family, and his adventurous spirit. Con is survived is by 1 daughter: Pegi Mackiewicz, one son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Sheryl Servi, his 4 grandchildren: Rebecca Mackiewicz, Andrew (Amy) Servi, Adam (Katie) Servi and Michael (Melissa) Servi, 5 great-grandchildren: Jack, Quinn, Ella, Charles and Levi, 1 brother: Gilbert Servi, 1 brother-in-law: Ray Eckardt. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 1 son-in-law: Jamie Mackiewicz, 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law: Lorraine (Al) Grall, Beverly Eckardt, 2 brothers and2 sisters-in-law: Lawrence Servi, Maynard (Rose) Servi, Rose Servi, 1 brother-in-law: Charles (Martha) McMillion Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Monday January 29, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church 2040 Hillside Lane. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Adam Bradley Officiating. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, let us celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the memories that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
