Betty L. Paal

Betty L. Paal, 80, Green Bay passed away in Friday, January 9, 2009 at Bornemann Nursing Home. Betty was born on June 11, 1928 in Crystal Falls, Michigan the daughter of the late Guido & Violet (Clark) Casagranda. Betty married her husband Milton in Green Bay on October 27, 1951. They had 57 years of marriage bliss together. They had three sons and lovely daughters-in-law. She graduated from Crystal Falls High School in 1946. Betty was a member of the Bellevue V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #9677. Betty is survived by her husband Milton, three sons and daughters-in-law Dennis and Cheryl Paal, Green Bay; Brian and Kim Paal, Manitowish Waters, WI; Alan and Lynn Paal, Green Bay; three grandsons Tyler, Adam (Lisa), Kyle Paal and three granddaughters Jenelle (Decker) Welch, Terra Paal and Dana Paal and one great grandchild on the way in due in the month of May. She is further survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law Charles Casagranda, Leslie, MI; Bruce (Sue) Casagranda, Crystal Falls, MI; sister and brothers-in-law Joyce Hinkhouse, Green Bay; Arnold and Betty Macco, Green Bay; also many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Glen, four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Ruth and Robert Schumacher, Bernice Paal, Delores Macco, Joan Casagranda and Ronald Hinkhouse. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Monday, January 12, 2009 at Prince of Peace Parish 3425 Willow Road. Mass of Christian Burial 6:00 P.M. at the church with Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her name. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to Bornemann Nursing Home especially Katie for all of their loving attention shown to Betty. Also, a special thank-you to Sarah and the staffs of Unity Hospice as well as Dr. John Rank for their care and compassion. There are so many things my Love, I want to do for you. I wish I knew the surest way to make your dreams come true. For you are all that matters in my life from day to day. Your kindness and your thoughtfulness an everything you say.
